Mission of the Community Services Department
The mission of Muscatine County Community Services is to provide quality services following mandates and policies established by the State of Iowa and Muscatine County. These services will be provided in a fair, respectful, and cost effective manner to persons who are indigent, low-income, or disabled.Services & Programs

Board of Health
Public health services are provided by contract through Trinity Muscatine.

Point of Access for Mental Health Services
We accept service applications from residents of Muscatine County who are requesting funding for Regional Mental Health Services. There is financial eligibility criteria to access regional funds in accordance with the Regional Management Plan. We Inform people of the Mental Health and Disability services and supports available in Muscatine County.

General Assistance
General Assistance provides financial support to Muscatine County income eligible residents in emergency situations.

Trust Services
Trust Services provides payee support to persons determined by the social security administration to need assistance in managing their benefits.
