Treasurer - Taxes

1st installment of 2024 property taxes were due by 9/30/25 and the 2nd installment is due by 3/31/26 to avoid penalty. Payments can be made online, in person, placed in the drop box at the front of the Administration Building or postmarked by the due date. Please be aware that your mail may not be postmarked the same day even when visiting the post office in person. Anything paid after the due date will be subject to 1.5% interest per month as penalty.


Passports

  • Our office is now accepting applications for passports between the hours 8-10 a.m. and 2-3:30 p.m.
  • Applications are only available online at travel.state.gov. Please visit the website, fill out and print the application, and bring it with you to our office. 
  • Minimum requirements are state certified birth certificate, drivers license and a personal check.
  • To make an appointment please contact us at 563-263-7113 but appointments are not required

Office Hours:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Passports 8:00-10:00 a.m. and 2:00-3:30 p.m.
  • Title transfers done until 4:00 p.m.
  • Drop Box at the entrance to Administration building for your convenience.
  • Go online 24/7 to pay or order personalized plates.
  • The 2nd Tuesday of each month our office will be closed in the morning for training. We will be open by noon to 4:30pm, title transfers stop at 4pm.
